Bank Lviv is focused on small and medium-sized businesses operating exclusively in the western regions of Ukraine. The bank has extensive experience in business banking, with a particular focus on agricultural producers and green companies. As part of its strategy to develop digital service channels, Bank Lviv set us the task of creating a new corporate website that would meet modern UI/UX standards and have the necessary online tools and functionality to fully engage, inform, advise, and sell the bank's products and services.
The client asked us to develop an updated corporate website that would meet modern requirements for ease of management and security:
- Develop a website in accordance with the structure and communication strategy of the Bank.
- Adapt and scale the UX design of the website (30+ pages).
- Adapt and scale the UI design of internal pages (100+ pages).
- Perform adaptive layout of key pages of the website in HyperText Markup Language (HTML).
- Create a project structure, provide project design, and integrate the layout into a content management system (CMS).
- Develop and connect software modules (calculators, etc.).
- Fill in the content (texts, photos, banners, and videos).
- Conduct search engine optimisation (SEO) of the website based on the provided terms of reference.
- Transfer content from the old website (news, documents, SEO content) to the new one.
- Implement redirect maps.
- Adapt the administrative part of the site to the needs of the bank.
- Conduct website testing (comparing two versions of the website with each other to determine the best one).
- Prepare the website release.
- Provide support and development of the new website (technical support).
Work on the website for Bank Lviv started in 2024 and initially took 8 months. The development took place in several stages:
- Coordination of block customisation. At the first stage, we discussed in detail the requirements for customising the blocks with the client to understand what elements and functions should be available for editing in the admin panel.
- Creation of a technical specification describing the functionality of the blocks. Based on the information we received, we prepared a technical task where we carefully described the functionality of each block, including the ability to change text, images, and backgrounds.
- Development of UI for missing pages and blocks. Designers created mock-ups for the missing pages and blocks to make the website look complete and consistent with the Bank Lviv brand book.
- Backend. At this stage, we developed the server side, which provides the site's functionality and integration with the admin panel for content management.
- Frontend. Next, we started implementing the frontend of the site, including the adaptation of the design and interactive elements.
- Filling with content. After developing the site structure, we started filling it with content, including text and visual information.
- Testing. The final stage was testing the website on different devices and browsers to make sure that all functions work correctly and there are no bugs.
The client received a website with a powerful and convenient content editing tool that greatly simplifies the management of various sections:
- Editing all blocks. The client can now independently manage the News, Loans, Deposit Calculator, and any other sections of the website. This allows to quickly update information and keep the content up-to-date.
- Change the location of the text. The site administrator is now able to easily change the location of text blocks. This allows not only to adjust the content but also to change the structure of pages, adapting them to different tasks or marketing goals.
- Moving buttons. The site's functionality has been expanded with the ability to change the location of buttons on pages. This provides additional flexibility in customising the interface, allowing you to adapt the site to improve the user experience.
- Setting the background colour. One of the important options is the ability to change the background colour for individual blocks. This helps to create the right atmosphere and visual identity, and allows to easily adapt the site to different thematic campaigns or seasonal changes.
- Additional customisation options. These tools allow the administrator to manage the appearance and functionality of the website without the need to contact the developers.
