Capri - all your favorite dishes in one place.
Capri is a restaurant of European, Caucasian and Asian cuisine. Capri's history begins in 2005. It started its way as a fast-food establishment. Today it is a chain of successful restaurants. In 2019, we received a request from a client to develop a website for eCommerce.

Everything in life should be simple and tasty.

The work on the project began with the website migration from CMS WordPress to Magento 1.9. We made an analysis of direct and indirect competitors and created a user-friendly interface. Based on the experience, our UI / UX specialists developed the design according to the corporate style.

Over time and with the growth of the restaurant chain, the website developed in Magento 1.9 began to gradually become outdated. A new task for our team was to transfer the website to a new Magento  engine 2.3. Completed work:

  • we sped up the work of the website for regular users and for administrators;
  • we updated the stack of used technologies;
  • we simplified the checkout process.

The redesign was carried out without losing top positions in the search results.

About functionality

We upgraded the functionality:

  • we developed a user-friendly interface;
  • we made the listing more convenient;
  • we made an order form simple;
  • we simplified registration.

We created a delivery module that helps to operate time slots, determining the maximum number of orders per slot. The module takes into account the time it takes to process an order.

In the case when the limit on orders is reached, the time slot disappears. This is done in order to optimize delivery and logistics.

We developed new modules and updated functionality. We simplified product selection and turned visitors into buyers.

We made it nice

We integrated all the necessary marketing functionality to track events and advertising campaigns.

We implemented SEO modules, meta tags templates for products and categories: hreflang, canonical, PageSpeed, and Google Shopping Feed.

We carried out marketing work to fill the website.

We created unique content for product cards.

Summary

  1. We changed the CMS Wordpress to Magento 2.3 and this allowed the website to withstand more significant loads;
  2. The new website solves several pain points:
    • It allows to receive orders in a structured way and view product information;
    • It enables a customer to conveniently and quickly place an order;
    • It makes it possible to adequately track the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
