Ukrposhta is the national postal service operator of Ukraine. The service has been providing domestic and international delivery services, as well as money transfers and other related tasks since 1994.
Ukrposhta APIs appeared in 2017, and the official portal for developers was launched two years later. Although the service can be potentially useful for anyone who sends more than 10 parcels per month, it is not yet available to individual entrepreneurs. To register on the website and receive API keys, you need to sign an agreement with Ukrposhta as a legal entity.
After the customer has filled out the application and the manager has confirmed it, the system will automatically create a waybill, which can be easily printed and stuck on the parcel as a label. The operator at the post office will only need to scan it, and there will be no paperwork. The API will also calculate the cost of the shipment for you and your customer in advance.
The generated TTN can be immediately sent to the recipient in a way convenient for him or her and allow you to track the parcel online in your personal account on your website.
The Ukrposhta API automatically checks the data entered by the user and, if necessary, selects the index itself to avoid errors with addresses and delays in delivery.
